Soaring through the sky, we approach a seemingly uninhabited island. The landscape is lush with trees and vegetation, beautiful waterfalls, and inviting beaches. As we get closer, we notice that hundreds (maybe even thousands!) of birds have made this beautiful place their home. The island is full of chatter and a flurry of activity as the birds scavenge for food and interact with each other. The two sections of the piece allow the performer to showcase both lyrical and technical playing.
