The Omaha Conservatory of Music had the great pleasure of hosting Elizabeth Borowsky for a guest-artist residency and educational workshops. Elizabeth oozes positivity, knowledge, and creativity.

We received rave reviews from our students, who participated in her performance master class and yoga for musicians session.

The breadth of Elizabeth’s experience cannot be understated. She is a gifted performer, composer, and pedagogue. In concert, she is stunning. The passion with which she conveys works of piano greats like Chopin and Liszt leaves an imprint on her audience that will not quickly fade.

We wholeheartedly recommend Borowsky as a guest artist, performer, master class or camp clinician, lecturer, or composer.

Brava, Elizabeth!

Private Lessons

In 2011 Elizabeth Borowsky founded Piano Prodigies. The name of the program, "Piano Prodigies," reflects the personal philosophies of director and pianist Elizabeth Borowsky. NCTM:

  • Everyone was born with musical potential and talent.

  • Talent can be nurtured and developed through committed study under the guidance of an experienced and highly qualified teacher.

  • Students learn best when they are engaged, motivated, and inspired.

The program offers outstanding musical instruction in a creative, encouraging, and dynamic setting. In addition to weekly private lessons, students participate in workshops, masterclasses, recitals, community outreach, festivals, and competitions. This comprehensive and interdisciplinary curriculum is a vital part of the learning experience, nurturing students in becoming expressive and communicative performers.

Parents credit Borowsky with nurturing remarkable technical, musical, and personal growth in their kids. Ms. Borowsky holds degrees from acclaimed programs including the Jacobs School of Music, and is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music.

Online and in-person lessons available (Lebanon, NH).

TESTIMONIALS

“Elizabeth teaches her students so much more than just piano. She mentors them in life, developing effective problem-solving strategies, encouraging perseverance, helping them connect the dots between music and everything else they are learning about, ...allowing them to feel more, think more, and love the process!” -Matt and Elaine Steiner

"Elizabeth really was the best teacher my son has ever had. She taught him from the time he was 9-11, and we only stopped working with her when she moved. She was able to inspire him to make steady progress, week over week, even when working on challenging pieces beyond the point that they were new or fun. She gave constructive, creative, practice tips. She helped him find his own techniques that enabled him to get over specific hurdles. She expected him to do better, and so he did. Elizabeth is a fantastic teacher - if you have the opportunity to work with her, whatever your age, be prepared for major progress ahead!" -Katherine Frey

"The progress my son made with Elizabeth far exceeded any expectations we had and demonstrated to me what a wonderful teacher she is. Our son is extremely shy. Not only did he grow as a piano player, he gained more confidence in himself.  Elizabeth was able to encourage him to play in a judged competition, which he did successfully and looks back on with pride. Due to Elizabeth's inspiration, playing and practicing piano was not a chore, but rather an activity he performed happily and voluntarily. Elizabeth was able to impart her enthusiasm and love of playing the piano onto our son. She customized the music and lessons to his skill level and interests while at the same time providing challenges to keep the learning process going. Once a piano piece was mastered, he was very enthusiastic about beginning the next new piece. Elizabeth is not only friendly and patient, but great at gauging her student's level of knowledge and ability. She is a very positive and encouraging teacher who is able to make confident self-motivated piano players out of her students. I highly recommend Elizabeth as a piano teacher, her passion for music is contagious and she shares her love of music with all her students." -Kim Droboniku

"I can honestly give Elizabeth the credit for keeping my girls interested in piano lessons. All parents know about those transitional periods kids go through from Elementary school into the Middle school and High school years. Interests shift unless the lesson/subject is fresh. I find this applies to adults, too! Elizabeth grew up on the piano. She has the training, talent, expertise and passion to properly teach students. I have personally watched her develop her teaching skills. Her amazing personality keeps students focused, interested and learning. She's fun, loving, and all-around fantastic at what she does and who she is." -Lisa Edwards

"The improvement I have seen in my daughter has been absolutely incredible. Elizabeth has helped her to become a better technical player, and even more dramatically, a better emotional player as well. Kara loves all kinds of music, and Elizabeth is always willing to work with Kara on pieces that she wants to play, even if some of them might not be considered “classical” piano. Elizabeth really is kind of a “piano” mom to her students. She truly invests a part of herself into each of her “kids” and their performances, and wants nothing but the best for them. Elizabeth is a smart, passionate and caring teacher. Piano is a passion for her, and has become a passion of Kara's and I truly think it is because of Elizabeth. She is a wonderful teacher and Kara looks forward to her lessons every week with joy and enthusiasm. Thank you so much Elizabeth!" -Richelle Iwanowski

"I want to thank you for everything you have done for me. Not only are you a fantastic piano teacher, you have become a friend and role model, too. No words can express my gratitude to you. You have inspired me in multiple ways. Twenty years from now I will look back and smile at the memories of these wonderful lessons. I hope you will always continue to teach young pianists!"
-Yixuan Liu

"Hi Elizabeth! I teach at Notre Dame Prep and when we have open house, I invite visitors to the piano lab. If they mention that they take lessons I always ask with whom? Over the years, I've found that students who have you for a teacher are always SO enthusiastic about playing the piano and learning about music. Keep up the great work!" -Sue Muller

"As parents of two highly motivated young pianists we felt very blessed to have Mrs. Borowsky as their teacher. Her talent, musicality and sensibility transcends into her teaching. Her love of music is obvious and she is able to share her passion through her teaching with patience, discipline and kindness. Our children progressed tremendously over a short period of time and more importantly, they now play with enthusiasm and confidence." -Bao Tran Doan and Hai Nguyen

"I want to thank you for opening up a whole new world of music to me. I believe the most important lesson I've learned from you is a skilled pianist makes the piece come alive with it's own story and emotions. Inspired by you, I would like to pursue music as part of my college education. Thank you for helping me develop this love and for being a fun, understanding, and patient teacher! I often forget you are a famous pianist because you make me feel like I'm the only person in the world during our lessons." -Natalie Williams

"You have been such an incredible help with piano. Music has such a special and important meaning to me and playing piano with you has really made my love for music stronger. I'm looking forward to learning more and more pieces with you. I can't thank you enough for helping me." -Danielle (age 16)

"Thank you for everything! I have learned so much with you in such a short period of time, and you really are more than a piano teacher: you are a wonderful mentor and friend."
-Alyssa (age 16)
